Bellápierre cosmetics

So finally all moved! When moving you always find things that you forgot you had or in my case didn't realise I had.
So after packing 80 pairs of shoes, nearly acquiring a pet duck and unpacking in the new house me and luna (my dog) just had to take a few days out of the blogging world to get sorted and settled in.

Now all my makeup, hair products and clothes are away I can get back to reviews, outfits of the day and when ever else I put on here.

So let's starts. We are reviewing to eyeshadow a from Bellápierre cosmetics.

I like the packaging on these, they are very cute and are tough so they are not going to crack or smash and end up having a draw full of eyeshadow(not in a good way).

The first colour I tested was Harmony, which looked like a taupe colour in the pot but when applied it was move goldie brown.
When I have swatches I have show you with and without a eyeshadow base, the left swatch on my hand is using an eyeshadow base and the right is without. As you can see this created a completely different colour but I do like how they both look and how they went on it was very pigmented.

The next colour was Noir which is a black (obviously), for me this must go on a shadow base to get good colour pay off.
It wasn't as pigmented as Harmony but it did apply nicely again and I didn't use a lot when swatching.

I would buy this again in different colours. I think they do bright colours, I would be all over them as they blend beautifully but it depends how pigmented they are aswell.

I don't think these shadows are badly priced at around £12.99 for a good product.

Poochpack

So here is something I have been getting for two months now, they are really cool, it's called a pooch pack. I had received my glossybox and I though I wonder if they would do something for dogs (my dog is my best friend I wouldn't want her to miss out), so I was looking on the net and hey presto!! The pooch pack entered mine and Luna's lives!

I signed up and it's pretty good, when you fill in the information about you dog and they taylor the pack to you, just like glossybox, birchbox ect.

Here is what Luna got this month

Pawsitively Natural Treats

So we got these biscuits in two flavours one was honey and the other was cheese. The honey smelt so yummy I nearly ate them myself (I didn't though) and the cheese ones was soooo pungent ! She enjoyed both as you can see from the pictures she was licking the crumbs up from the floor.

I give these treats a thumbs up! If you want to buy these for your dog you can find them at www.pawsitivelynatural.co.uk

Nature's menu

I pulled these treats out the box next, which we got in lamb flavour. I really like the idea of the packaging on these it had a zip lock at the top as it advises on the card that why are good for training but when it came to opening the back... I broke the zip lock, so I would say it was more of a pain than a good thing. Other than that Luna loved them, I only opened it a tiny wee bit but oh my gosh! The smell was so strong and she was rearing to do anything I told her to eat these!!

Again this is another thumbs up, I would buy this again for her just for training but when I can't afford nice treats I just usually cut up hot dogs it has the same effect on her as these did.

Beco Bone

This was the first toy, I have seen these types of toys in the pet shop and was quite excited to actually get one but once I took it out she wasn't to thrilled by it. It also said it was supposed to smell of vanilla but it just smelt like rubber to me.
The cool thing about this toy though is what it is made from, which is bamboo and rice husks, these give it extra bounce and are non toxic to your pet.

I wouldn't buy the bone again but maybe the ball as I know she would enjoy that much more.

 Fatcat Toys

I saw this in the box and loved it!! If I found this in a pet shop I would have bought it straight away. You can feel it's really durable, it has a nylon blet sewn inside of it so it can withstand being tugged by your dog(s) and it has a squeeker which most dogs love!
The only bad thing about this toy was the fact Luna pulled off and ate its tongue.... But you live and learn.

I would buy this again and again, I'm sure this you will last a long time.

Hope you enjoyed and if you wanted to sign your dog up you can do that at www.poochpack.co.uk

Soft, silky and straight hair

I was going to do curling with a flat iron but my hair needed some serious taming this morning and took this opportunity to show you the products I use to get shiny, smooth and healthy hair.

Before I tell you about the products and techniques I use, here is a picture of me looking as sexual as possible after a shower and a brief section about my hair.

My hair is the do what ever it wants type. It waves, it curls and it's does random straight pieces amongst the waves and curls. Either way, the products I use are great for all hair types.

Whilst in the shower I used my macadamia products, I love these and I know they are pricey but I will attach a link at the end for where you can by them cheaper than the high street.

I start with the macadamia rejuvenating shampoo, this shampoo is awesome!! I dye my hair a lot which can sometimes leave my hair damaged and dry, I was struggling to find shampoos that had the right qualities that I liked. This shampoo hydrated my hair and put life back into my hair, it smells great and it lathers well which is a big deal for me. If a shampoo doesn't lather well, to me it feels like it doesn't clean my hair properly and I get left with dirt still in my hair.

After shampooing I used the deep repair masque. It does say on the packaging to not use more than twice a week, which I agree as it makes my hair get a build up of oils but I use this at least once every week.
Again the product smells great and when I use this no matter how bad my hair looks when I come out the shower, my hair feels amazing, so soft and shiny.
One thing to remember when using this product is to avoid applying it at the roots and leave it on for the full seven minutes to see the benifits.

Once out the shower I normally let my hair air dry but I am going to show you how to get the best shine from blow dying your hair.
After towel drying your hair untill damp move on to blow drying(be sure to use a heat protectant spary before putting any heat on your hair) the hair dryer I am using is just a baybaliss hair dryer which I have lost the straight attachment for (sorry). when you are blow drying, angle the hair dryer down, this will reduce flyaway hairs and add shine. If your hair lacks volume you can always use a round brush whilst blow drying(if you want to see how to do this be sure to comment or message me and I will do a short video to show you)

Once your hair is completely dry we can move on to straightening
The straightners I will be using, is ghds I have the pastel range (they look pretty).

Please please please!!! Section your hair off when ever your styling your hair, this makes it easier to manage.

Before using my straightner on my hair I spray each section with vo5's smoothly does it spray, this is a heat defence spray and it adds shine to each section.

When I straightening my hair I use a fine tooth comb, taking small pieces of hair straightening away from the face and then brining it down and round back towards the face, this adds shape rather than straight down.

After straightening I use Schwarzkopf repair rescues. It says to use this in damp hair but I like it better on dry hair. Take a pea size amount, rub this into your hands and then run your hand through your hair concentrating on the ends of your hair. This helps to seal the ends of your hair and also ands shine to your hair.

And then we are done!!! Yay!!!

Sorry I know this was a long post but tried to fit everything on :) any questions ect. Please let me know.

Love it or leave it. Mascara

I have the biggest love hate with mascara, I love how it can wake up and widen your eyes but I hate trying to pick the right one.
It has taken me soooo long to try and find mascaras that work for me and now I am left with tones of them! So out of my big selection I chosen four at random to do my first blog with.

Mascara for me is a must in my every day makeup and I hope this helps if you was planning on buying a new one.

Firstly is l'oréal's false lash flutter, I saw this advertised and I was really intrigued to see if it would give me the winged out look on my lashes (which I love) but as you can see it kind of did the opposite.
I was also very disappointed with the fact it was a rubber applicator, they just don't normally work for me. I find that my lashes end up getting stuck together rather than looking full.

Would I buy this again... No, sorry flutter lashes I would leave it.

Next one up for the challenge is Benifit's They're real. I was a little sceptical when when I opened this and I saw the rubber applicator but when I used it... Oh my gosh I loved it! It separates and lengthened my lashes. The only problem I found with this product was when I use it on my bottom lashes through out the day it left black smudges under my eyes which made me look tired and need to wash my face. If I only apply on my top lashes I love it.

Love it or leave it? I love this product... GET IN MY BAG!!!

Another Benifit product, it's their bad gal lashes. I love the brush on this, it's so big and it picks up every lash seperates and lengthens them. Great staying power lashes look full and long all day.

Love it, love it, love it!

Last but in no way least is Soap & Glory's thick & fast mascara. This is my favourite mascara right now. I love everything about this product the packaging, the mascara consistency and mostly the brush applicator. The brush has different lengths around the applicator which makes it perfect to get you bottom lashes as well as your top.
It keeps my lashes looking good all day, no touch ups needed and no smudges.

I love this and will be buying this again when it runs out!

Let me know which you prefered or what you use every day, would love to find out and try ☺️
