Soft, silky and straight hair

I was going to do curling with a flat iron but my hair needed some serious taming this morning and took this opportunity to show you the products I use to get shiny, smooth and healthy hair.

Before I tell you about the products and techniques I use, here is a picture of me looking as sexual as possible after a shower and a brief section about my hair.

My hair is the do what ever it wants type. It waves, it curls and it's does random straight pieces amongst the waves and curls. Either way, the products I use are great for all hair types.

Whilst in the shower I used my macadamia products, I love these and I know they are pricey but I will attach a link at the end for where you can by them cheaper than the high street.

I start with the macadamia rejuvenating shampoo, this shampoo is awesome!! I dye my hair a lot which can sometimes leave my hair damaged and dry, I was struggling to find shampoos that had the right qualities that I liked. This shampoo hydrated my hair and put life back into my hair, it smells great and it lathers well which is a big deal for me. If a shampoo doesn't lather well, to me it feels like it doesn't clean my hair properly and I get left with dirt still in my hair.

After shampooing I used the deep repair masque. It does say on the packaging to not use more than twice a week, which I agree as it makes my hair get a build up of oils but I use this at least once every week.
Again the product smells great and when I use this no matter how bad my hair looks when I come out the shower, my hair feels amazing, so soft and shiny.
One thing to remember when using this product is to avoid applying it at the roots and leave it on for the full seven minutes to see the benifits.

Once out the shower I normally let my hair air dry but I am going to show you how to get the best shine from blow dying your hair.
After towel drying your hair untill damp move on to blow drying(be sure to use a heat protectant spary before putting any heat on your hair) the hair dryer I am using is just a baybaliss hair dryer which I have lost the straight attachment for (sorry). when you are blow drying, angle the hair dryer down, this will reduce flyaway hairs and add shine. If your hair lacks volume you can always use a round brush whilst blow drying(if you want to see how to do this be sure to comment or message me and I will do a short video to show you)

Once your hair is completely dry we can move on to straightening
The straightners I will be using, is ghds I have the pastel range (they look pretty).

Please please please!!! Section your hair off when ever your styling your hair, this makes it easier to manage.

Before using my straightner on my hair I spray each section with vo5's smoothly does it spray, this is a heat defence spray and it adds shine to each section.

When I straightening my hair I use a fine tooth comb, taking small pieces of hair straightening away from the face and then brining it down and round back towards the face, this adds shape rather than straight down.

After straightening I use Schwarzkopf repair rescues. It says to use this in damp hair but I like it better on dry hair. Take a pea size amount, rub this into your hands and then run your hand through your hair concentrating on the ends of your hair. This helps to seal the ends of your hair and also ands shine to your hair.

And then we are done!!! Yay!!!

Sorry I know this was a long post but tried to fit everything on :) any questions ect. Please let me know.

  1. Macadamia can be bought from www.allbeauty.com

I use this website all the time for perfume, hair products and some makeup brands. They are cheaper than the high street and always have sales on lots of products.
